Over the past ten (10) years, the Port of Lomé (PAL) has undergone progressive transformation of its infrastructure, now recognized as among the most modern in the West African sub-region and among the best on the continent. This performance results from a strong political will, combining discretion and efficiency in attracting capital through Public-Private Partnerships. As the country’s main gateway for international trade, the Port of Lomé (PAL) has been serving both the national economy and the West African sub-region since 1967, the year it became operational.
